Advanced Beginning Agility

Description: Advanced Beginning Agility is a continuation of Beginning Agility and continues development with each obstacle. During this class we will work on moving to full height for equipment and adding more sequencing and handling skills. Many dogs benefit from taking Advanced Beginning Agility more than once as they need more time to become comfortable with the equipment at full height. Core skills taught in Advanced Beginning Agility include:

• A-Frame at full height
• Teeter at full height
• Weave poles with guide wires but without offset
• Dogwalk
• Front cross
• Rear cross

Prerequisites:

• Age 9 months or older
• Basic obedience skills (come, sit, down)
• Friendly around other dogs
• Mastery of core skills of Beginning Agility
