NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Linn County is offering Family to Family, a free 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, panic disorder, or obsessive compulsive disorder.  Family to Family discusses the diagnosis and clinical treatment of these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope more effectively.

Classes are free to participants.  They will begin on 9/1/09 and will meet weekly at St. Pius X Church in Cedar Rapids.
