City High Cross Country presents its annual benefit run:

Run for Relief 2009 for the Iowa City Free Medical Clinic

The 5K run/walk is open to community members of all ages and skill levels.

Cost is $20 to pre-register. E-mail Susan Graves at sgraves7@mchsi.com. T-shirt included with fee. You may register the day of the event starting at 8 am for $25. A limited supply of t-shirts will be available that day.

The race begins at 10 am in Iowa City Lower City Park. Bagels and hot beverages will be provided for participants. Medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group. Prizes donated by area businesses will be raffled or awarded randomly to participants.

All proceeds go to the Iowa City Free Medical Clinic, which provides medical and dental care free of charge to those in our community otherwise unable to receive treatment, either for financial reasons or reasons of confidentiality.
