Satisfying Fall Soups  w/ Ryan Buresh, Prairie Soup Company - $10

Ryan Buresh and his wife Katie opened The Prairie Soup Company in downtown Cedar Rapids in November, 2008.  Ryan grew up in Cedar Rapids, and moved to San Francisco after graduating from the University of Iowa in 2000.  He modeled Prairie Soup after a chain of popular lunch restaurants that he frequented while working in San Francisco.  He and Katie now have two daughters, and developed most of their soup recipes in the years leading up to the launch of the restaurant.  Ryan will make two of his soup recipes, Potato Leek and Chipotle Butternut Squash and share tips on making full flavored, satisfying soups. These fall soups are guaranteed to take the chill out of the air!
