In his one-man show, Williams connects a number of important issues then and now for contemporary audiences: •Substance Abuse. •Fatherlessness •Violence •Personal responsibility •The Value of Family and Faith Set in the Los Angeles boon town of 1904, Deacon A.L. Wiley is a poignant and entertaining testament of wisdom and inspiration. The performance is a celebration of African-Americans and their Elders that will enrich family and community lives. GregAlan Williams was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Audiences have seen him in films like: In the Line of Fire (1993) and Remember the Titans (2000), along with television shows such as: Baywatch, The West Wing, The Sopranos, The District, City of Angels, The Game, Law and Order and Drop Dead Diva. Williams was honored for his rescue of a Japanese-American motorist who was pulled out of his car and beaten by a mob in 1992 during the race riots in Los Angeles.
